Inspiring Learning Through History

This year we are raising money to refurbish our one room schoolhouse. We are adding more objects and photos so it can be an interactive exhibit. Visitors are welcome to wander around inside the schoolhouse and learn more about the students who attended the Lehi School.
Built in 1880, the original Lehi Schoolhouse was a one-room adobe schoolhouse which washed away in a flood. A second school was built in its place but by the early 1910's, it was no longer functional for the growing community and was replaced by the Old Lehi School which is now the home of the Mesa Historical Museum. Our replica of the original schoolhouse has been on the property since 2000 and is often used for school field trips to show students how school looked like nearly 150 years ago.
