Volunteer, Internship, & Job Opportunities

We have plenty of opportunities for volunteering at the museum!
For high schoolers looking for service hours, we have collections work to be done and data and photographs that need to be inputted into our database.
Not a high schooler?  You can volunteer here at any age whether you are doing a service project, looking for experience, or just want to give your time and support the museum!
Please email our Volunteer Coordinator at to schedule a time to volunteer.
By letting us know ahead of time, we can make sure we are prepared for you and have something lined up for you to do!  If you walk in unannounced to volunteer we can not always guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you so please call or email us ahead of time.
College Internship:
For college students looking for an internship for a professional experience course or just to gain some museum experience, we have internships available to you as well!  For our college interns, we give you a more hands on role in helping with our collections and our exhibits. Unpaid internships can be developed for students interested in museums, history, education, exhibit design, and more!
If you are a college student looking for an internship, please email a resume and letter of interest to our Volunteer Coordinator at
